millenniumbcp.pt and Western Union do not take any responsibility whatsoever for the delivery of any goods or services paid through this transfer system, namely those concerning purchases through the Internet.

Advantages: It guarantees a 10 minute service level from the moment the Customer pays the transfer up to the moment of receiving the Numeric Transfer Code (MTCN), for transfers made in business days between 08.30 hrs and 18.00 hrs.

Forms of Utilisation

The Western Union transfer service may be used as follows:

At millenniumbcp.pt - exclusively for customers and those registered through the option Transfers (up to a maximum of 5.700 euro per day).
At Millennium bcp Branches - whether you are a Customer or not.

Remittance of Funds:

Select the option "Remittance of Funds";
Indicate the amount you wish to transfer;
Take note of the MTCN code which you will receive in your Messages box immediately after the operation has been carried out;

Payment will be charged to your current account;

Inform the Beneficiary of the allocated MTCN* and, if appropriate, also indicate the Code-Word;

As from that moment, the Beneficiary, duly identified, may go to any W.U. agency anywhere in the world and draw the amount concerned.

* Transfers to United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Northern Irland and Wales) and Romania oblige the presentation of the MTCN code to money's withdrawal.

Note: Western Union transfers in which the applicant and the beneficiary are the same person are not allowed in various countries, namely England, Brazil and Spain.

Receipt of Funds:

Select the option "Receipt of Funds"
Indicate the account where you wish the transfer to be credited;

Note:

The beneficiary of W.U. transfers may opt to receive the money as follows:

· by credit to his account (exclusive for Customers registered with millenniumbcp.pt);

· money withdrawal:

In Portugal - at Millennium bcp Branches (irrespective of being a Bank's Customer or not) .
Abroad - in any Western Union agent.

Utilisation by telephone

How to use the Telephone Service:
  1. Phone one of the numbers indicated below:

  2. Indicate your current account number and your name, as well as the three digits of your Multichannel Access Code which you will be asked at random (ex.: 2nd, 4th and 6th).

  3. Indicate the transfer country of destination, the amount to be sent and beneficiary?s name.

  4. Grant authorisation for your account to be charged with the amount to be transferred plus the respective fee. Wait a few seconds until the MTCN* is transmitted to you.

  5. Your transfer will be made with no displacements, filling in forms or added costs.
